This was awesome, Eric. Thank you for showing me how to use these resources for professional gain. I am looking forward to working on making more connections through these resources. Great presentation at MSTA Convention. Really appreciate it! :)
ReplyDeleteI couldn't wait to get back to school and share all your great ideas! THX
ReplyDeleteGood Afternoon,
ReplyDeleteThat was a good presentation, I do wish I could have been there to see the verbal portion of the presentation. I am in Dr. Stranges EDM 310 class where we learn about these very same thing. I am a Secondary Education Major in Social Studies, so it is likely that I will one day be teaching the same class you teach now. (Though I personally hope for 11th grade.) I can't wait to add your various projects to my own PLN that I have been developing over this past semester.
Thanks for the ideas and insights!

Hi, I’m a student at the University of South Alabama in EDM310 and I’ve been reading your blog. Your presentation was really awesome and very informational. I’ve always liked the idea of a personal learning network and the tips you gave about PLN were really great. Great post!
ReplyDeleteHello, my name is Skye LaDart and I am a student at the University of South Alabama. I really enjoyed your presentation about building a PLN. I think having a PLN is very important and necessary. I just started building mine recently, and you have inspired me to go further and explore more. Your real life examples were great, and I will definitely be using many different networks in my classroom in the future. I am taking EDM310 at the University of South Alabama, and I will be summarizing my visits to your blog on my blog. The post can be viewed on February 6th!

Hmm, perhaps I am too old for the school stuff. :-)
ReplyDeleteHey, My name is AnnMerritt Taylor. Like the two students above, I am also a student at South Alabama and enrolled in the EDM 310 class. We are learning about the same things that your slideshow features. Your slideshow really helped explain what some of the applications actually do and how they work including delicious, flickr, and google phone. I loved that you had links under your slide show as well. It was really helpful in navigating. I will be doing a summary of my visit to your blog on my class blog on Friday.
