    Great Blog,

I thought you might want to check out what we are doing here in the UK.

Next week students from England are heading to Japan for the anniversary of the Hiroshima bombing. Student reporters shall be reporting their findings live to Radiowaves using mobile blogs, videos and radio, so that people around the world can learn alongside the reporters.

I think you will be interested to look: www.radiowaves.co.uk/tpyf

  2. As a social studies teacher in training, I found your slides from the keynote address to be extraordinarily inspiring. I consider myself a 21st-century learner as well as a future teacher, and so am constantly trying to think of ways I might incorporate my favorite technologies into my classroom in the fall. I strongly agree that we must make students producers and not just consumers of content. Just looking through your slides, I was struck by the diversity of options I can consider - and without great personal expense, at that.

Great blog, I am looking forward to hearing and reading more of your suggestions. Thanks!
